Saundra “Sandi” Jean Hunter, age 55 of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on May 31, 2023. She valued honesty and loved the ones she cared for more than imaginable. Sandi could be stubborn and feisty, but turned those traits into determination and hard work to establish a life for her boys that was better than her own. She was an incredible mom at a young age and allowed her sons to have the opportunities to succeed in life.
Sandi is survived by her mother, Jean Flick; her son, Bo Hunter and his wife Brandee, her son, Jarrod Burns; her grandson, Weston Riley Hunter; her brothers, Barry Mizzell and Gary Mizzell; her Aunt Kay; her first husband, Mike Hunter; her second husband, Terry Burns; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Windham.
The family will Celebrate Sandi’s Life on Friday, June 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel.
