Sarah Lee Lanier, of Morris, AL was born March 20th, 1935 and passed away on Sunday, October 6th, 2013 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Pearl Underwood, and three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 58 years, Johnny C. Lanier; two daughters, Melanie Lanier and Missy Gandy; her son-in-law, Bill Gandy; two grandsons, Logan and Caleb Gandy. She will be remembered and missed greatly by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:30 PM, Monday, October 7th, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Trussville.
