June Walker McKinney

June was a dedicated member of Mt. Olive United Methodist church and faithful in service to the Lord, church family and her community.

Mother to David McKinney and Dale Gohn (Bruce). She was grandmother to Toby Gohn (Kim), Ashley Brown (Mark) and Morgan Gohn (Melissa). She was great grandmother to Kayla Stewart (Houston), Kaitlyn Scrivner (Sammy), Karah Gohn, Jackson Gohn, Shelby Brown, Sean Brown, Audrey Gohn and Luke Gohn. She was great-great grandmother to Cash Scrivner.

June was preceded in death by her husband Jack McKinney, her mother Ruby and father David Marvette Walker.

June loved her family and we loved her. She will be missed, but we also celebrate with heaven her homecoming and await our reunion in Glory.

A Celebration of Life for June will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 PM; funeral service at 2:00 PM, followed by her burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
