Jerrell Louise Howse, age 82, of Mount Olive, was born in Jefferson County, AL, on February 16, 1941 and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She retired from Pediatrics East, and she was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church.
Jerrell is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, John Dolan Howse. She is survived by a son, John Howse; a daughter, Sharon Howse Heinl (Jamie); grandchildren, Brittany Heinl Chandler (Jared), Haleigh Heinl Dotman (Lance), Justin Howse, Jacob Howse (Alyssa), Jordan Howse and Carley Howse; great grandchildren, Londyn Chandler, Holland Chandler, Dallas Chandler, Lilly Grace Dotman, James Michael Dotman, Kinsley Howse, Kayden Howse and Kason Howse; Beau Snowden, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
A visitation for Jerrell will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Jerrell will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
