He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Miriam Beasley Patillo. Those left to cherish his memory include sons, Dale Patillo and Scott Patillo; grandson, Ryan Patillo; granddaughter, Amber Bowlin; brother, Jerry Patillo and former wife, Laura Patillo.
Jimmy was a family man who loved the outdoors where he spent time hunting, fishing and boating on the lake. He owned and operated Scott-Dale Express Trucking from 1991 to 2008.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel in Magnolia Hall, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Bivens Chapel Cemetery, Brookside, AL .
