Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur (Winnie Lee) Adair, grandparents Barbara Ann Wiley, George Dewey (Eva) Adams.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Joe Arthur Willoughby Sr; children Joe Arthur (Deborah) Willoughby Jr, Beverly (Mikel) Washburn, Vicki (Gary) Sutton; siblings William Harold (Lola) Adair , George Dewey (Freida) Adair, Tim (Judy) Willoughby and Margaret Wright; grandchildren Joe Arthur (Macy) Willoughby III, Peavy (Amy) Pittman, Katie Jo (Lee) Wright, Brandy (Trey) Valentini, Amanda (Zachary) Rushen, Candy (Heath) Blackmon, Jamie (Jon) Zmolik, Amber (Jeff) Ross, Tiffany Sutton and Bradley Sutton; great- grandchildren Warren, Whit, Cam, Charlee Jo, Evelyn, William, Olivia, Henry, TJ, Lauren, Chloe, Madi, Harper, Rocky, Wyatt, Savannah, Kirsten, Khloe, Riley, and Elli.
Barbara loved God, Alabama football, cooking and spending time loving her family. Her best times were with Joe and Suzi watching western movies and John Wayne. Spending time with the National Guard family was special to her.
Services for Barbara will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Her burial will be at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of floral remembrances, donations are requested to Grace Point Methodist Church in Mount Olive.
