Robert Lee Saenz—brother, uncle, and friend—passed away on 25 September 2022. He had a knack for making people feel happy, and he always made us laugh. Bobby loved to sing the Beatles and listen to the Rolling stones. Most important, he loved Jesus and shared the gospel, often.
He cheated in Monopoly with his nieces and nephews, to relieve the monotony and boost attentiveness—and for a laugh. When it came to real money, he gave much away, hoping to help. Bobby graduated from Garden Grove High in 1970 and then from Cal State Fullerton, majoring in criminal justice.
He is survived by his father Jess Saenz, sisters Lucy Stoffer, Joanne Evans, and Elizabeth Miller; and, many nieces and nephews. His mother, Nellie Saenz, preceded him in death. Bob was 70.
A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on 8 October 2022 at 11:00 am at Dimond & Shannon located at 10630 Chapman Avenue, Garden Grove, CA 92840.
