Eva G. Waller

Eva G Waller, age 81, of Gahanna, Ohio was blessed to have passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, October 11, 2024. Born December 13, 1942 in Mingo County, W.VA. Those that knew her well have probably heard her story of how she fell in love at first sight with James E. Waller. They soon wed and raised their family in Columbus, Ohio. She worked for many years at National Coil and finally retired in 2014. She was very dedicated to raising her family; for more than 30 years she had Sunday dinners (known as Mamaw’s Day 😊) to ensure we would always stay close. A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Eva was an active member of Gahanna Free Will Baptist Church over the last 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Victoria Messer (Farley); James E. Waller, her loving husband of 60 years; her brothers Glen and Johnny; as well as her beautiful daughter Margaret June Williams and granddaughter Ashley D Circelli.

She is survived by her son Rick Waller; daughter Saundra (Rod) Shannon; grandchildren Chad Waller, Jessica (Michael) Waller-Sollberger, Austin (Ambyr) Shannon, Nick (Sam) Waller, Chris (Samantha) Waller; great-grandchildren Kylynne, McKenna, Dallas, Eva and Ainsley; and dear life-long friends George and Jenny Prince.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. The funeral service will be on Monday, October 21 at 11:00am at the Gahanna Free Will Baptist Church, 3868 N Stygler Road, Columbus OH 43230. All are welcome to join the family for the procession to Mifflin Cemetery following service.
