Deborah "Debbie" A. Williams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Williams, known affectionately as Debbie, who peacefully departed this life on March 26th, 2023, in her hometown of Columbus, OH. She was 61 years old.

Debbie was born on February 21, 1962, in Columbus, OH, to Joanne Frye and Edward Lee Frye II, both of whom predeceased her, along with her brother Stevie. She grew up in a loving family alongside her surviving brothers Juan Woods (wife Niesi), Edward Lee Frye III, and Kenneth Lee Frye.

Debbie was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Krystal Mitchell (husband Charles III), Andrea White, and Carmine Frye, and a proud grandmother to her four grandchildren, Avery White, Charles Mitchell IV, Camden Mitchell, and Corbin Mitchell. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart as well.

Debbie will always be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering spirit. She was known for her great sense of humor, intelligence, compassion, outgoing personality, empathy, and positive outlook on life. Her lifelong friends, Valerie Coleman, Kelly Harper, Pamela Burks, and Jeri Alexander, meant the world to her.

Debbie had a successful career as a realtor and worked for Discover Card for most of her professional life. Her hard work, dedication, and commitment to her clients and colleagues were greatly admired.

Debbie fought a long, courageous battle against cancer with unwavering hope and positivity. She inspired everyone around her with her strength and resilience.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 12pm-1pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Debbie’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 1pm. Services will conclude with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213.

Debbie's memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of love and positivity will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
