Alice Ann Breda

Alice Ann Breda, 93, Columbus, OH passed peacefully at 4:25 PM on Sunday January 7, 2024 at Westerwood of Columbus. She was born in Paoli, IN to Allen Noble “Chuck” and Lois Farlow Trueblood. In 1961, she married William Michael Breda (deceased).

Survivors include: Son Michael Breda and his wife Becky Breda of New Bremen, OH; Daughter Nancy Stinnett of Columbus, OH, Son David Breda and his wife Beth Breda of Cincinnati, OH; Grandchildren Matthew Breda, Elizabeth Breda, Rev. Jacob Stinnett, Anna Stinnett, and Emmett Breda.

Mrs. Breda earned a Master of Library Science from Indiana University. She went on to serve in a variety of library-related roles in multiple school systems, including working with gifted and talented children. She retired from Columbus city schools. While raising a family in Columbus, Alice was an active participant in St. Anthony Parish of Columbus, OH, including playing the organ for several decades. Alice always enjoyed time with those she loved, especially family gatherings in both Ohio and Indiana.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM on Thursday January 11, 2024 at St. Brendan’s Church 4475 Dublin Road, in Hilliard Ohio.

Family will receive visitors starting 9:45 AM Thursday at St. Brendan’s Church.
