Nehemiah "Neo" Ray Voss

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Nehemiah Ray “Neo” Voss, 35, Attalla who passed away Friday, October 21, 2016. Revs. Blake and Craig Sitz will officiate. Burial will be at Turkeytown Cemetery.

Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service will direct.

Neo was a graduate of Grace Bible School. He was a very active member of “The Well”, where he served as an elder. Neo had a servant’s heart putting God first in his life and his main focus was on his family. He was the owner and operator of Voss Brothers Lawn Care and was employed with UPS. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid hunter, Alabama Fan and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Agnes Knight, Howard Voss and William Knight.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Palmer Voss, children, Jaylee Kate Voss, Caleb Fisher Voss and Grayson Palmer Voss, parents, Newman and Cathy Voss, mother-in-law and father-in-law, William “Billy” and Nena Palmer, brothers, Samuel and Joshua Voss, sister, Rachel Voss (Jesse) Heflin, Grandmothers, Jannie Voss and Charlotte Potts, brothers-in-law, Will (Angel) Palmer and Seth (Tara) Palmer, sister-in-law, Tiffany (Derick) Dodson, nieces, Chloe, Emma Madelyn and Peyton Palmer and Aiden Cruz, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Eagly, Blake Sitz, Seth Palmer, Will Palmer, John Weber and Wesley Crow.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Samuel and Joshua Voss, UPS Co-Workers, “The Well” Family and the Voss Lawn Care Crew.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his children’s college fund C/O The Exchange Bank.

The family would like to express special thanks to “The Well” Family, The Victory Christian Family, First Responders and all family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
