Lucile Wells

Mrs. Lucile Wells, of Ashville, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013, at Collier-Butler Chapel. The Rev. Mike Yopp will officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Park. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wells is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis C. Wells; father, John Hancock; mother, Leona Hancock; step-mother, Dorothy Hancock; brothers and sisters, J.C. Hancock, Roy F. Hancock, Florence and Lawrence Hancock, Jean Hancock; and an infant baby sister.

She is survived by her sons, John (Ossie) Wells of Ashville, Alabama; Louie (Linda) Wells of Ypslantic, Michigan; daughter, Pat (Steve) Baker of Lake Isbella, Michigan; three granddaughters, four great-grandsons, three great-granddaughters, one great-great grandson; brother, Floyd Hancock; sisters, Wanda Hancock and Bobbie Campbell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Todd Cross and Dr. G. Patel.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
