She was preceded in death by grandparents, Hobson and Evelyn Gilbert, and Hoyt and Edna Edwards.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, John Randall Jackson (Ashley); grandson, Caden Jackson; parents, Randy and Linda Edwards; brother, Rusty Edwards (Christy) – Kyle and Claire, and brother, Michael Edwards (Tangela) – Dylan and Anna Edwards, and Caleb and Kaylie Sims; and many extended family members and friends.
Kim graduated from Westminster Christian School, attended the University of Alabama, and Jacksonville State School of Nursing. Kim was also a realtor for several years in the Gadsden Area. She was a member of First Baptist church of Gadsden. She loved spending time with her grandson and playing games with him. She was an animal lover, especially for her “Fur Baby” Piper. Piper always brought a huge smile to her face. She loved her family and friends. Birthdays, Holidays, and family gatherings were her favorite times. She also loved watching the Crimson Tide, “Roll Tide”.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Collier-Butler Chapel. The family will accept friends from 2:00PM until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Rev. David Little and Bro. Bill Drummonds will officiate.
Kim truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, and spending time with her grandson. She will be missed by all.
