Jackie Johnson

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Jackie Bridges Johnson, 60, Gadsden who went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, August 18, 2012. Rev. David Carroll will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Jackie was born July 31, 1952 to James Newton Bridges and Robbie Green Bridges, She was a 1970 honor graduate of Emma Sansom High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Noah and Corine Green, father-in-law, Dewey Freeman Johnson and brother-in-law, Bruce “Bubba” Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Larry Thomas Johnson, twin daughter, Kerri and Kami Johnson, mother-in-law, Doris Johnson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William (deb) Johnson, Greg Johnson, Barry (Pam) Johnson, Paul (Tammy) Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews and chosen sisters, Frieda Murphy and Sandra Sosebee.

Pallbearers will be, Jeff Mayben, Derrick Sherrell, Stan Clayton, Charlie Glenn, David Womack and Vance Brown.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Corley Slayton.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Davita Dialysis.

The family will receive friends from 9 am until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
