Charlotte Morgan Luker

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel for beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Charlotte Morgan Luker, age 82, of Gadsden. Rev. John Dickerson and Rev. Noah Medders will officiate. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Harold Luker at Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Luker was born March 1, 1940 in Etowah County to Raymond Charles Morgan and Susie Caroline East Morgan. She was employed at Darden Rehab and had worked there for 30 years. Mrs. Luker was an active member of the East Gadsden Baptist Church. Her favorite pastime was working in the yard in her flower gardens. She was a wonderful cook and an avid Auburn fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and son, Greg Luker.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Dianne Luker (James) Hamby; grandchildren, Lisa (Jessie) Hughes, Tiffany (Jeff) Adkins, Amber (Jonathan Portwood) Luker and Allison Luker; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home and for one your prior to the service Thursday.
