She was preceded in death by her husband, AC Lipscomb, Sr., her father and mother, brothers and sister.
She was known by everyone for her love of Jesus, her family of 6 children, LaWanda Jackson, AC (Jeannie) Lipscomb, Jr., Randall (Gloria) Lipscomb, Charlie (Anne) Lipscomb, David (Rhonda) Lipscomb, Gloria (Perry) Melton and she treasured her 14 grandchildren and her 16 Great Grandchildren.
Miss Betty was known for her homemade chocolate cakes that she made for all her children’s birthdays, her church family and for The Mountain Cove Assisted Living. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She worked many years as a caregiver and loved everyone that she was honored to work and sit with. She was a faithful member of The Church At Wills Creek.
A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, March 11th at 1:00 p.m. CST at Rainbow Memorial Gardens, 1440 W Grand Avenue, Gadsden, AL 35904.
The family requests donations to The Church At Wills Creek in place of flowers in her honor.
