Benny Armstrong (63) of Rainbow City, AL passed away the morning of Sept. 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Willie Mae and Charley Armstrong, and son, Shada Armstrong. He was survived by his wife Renee Armstrong; children, Stephenie (Bobby) Sholar, Scott Armstrong, and Zack Armstrong. He was known as Gampaw to his grandchildren Tanner Kilgro, Kade Sholar, and Reagan Armstrong. He was also survived by brothers Rodney (Becky) Armstrong, and Jeff Armstrong; and a host of extended family. Benny was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish, especially with family. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
There will be a celebration of life at the Whorton Bend Community Center on Thursday, 9/12/24 from 6-8pm for anyone that would like to attend.
