Annie Mae Gladden

Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Annie Mae Gladden, age 87, of the Tabor Community, who passed away February 29, 2012 will be 2:30 PM Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Kenneth Lasseter will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Annie Mae was a lifelong resident of the Etowah County and grew up in Keener, AL. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a beloved Mother and Nanny. Her greatest joy was her family and sharing her photo albums and childhood memories. She loved flowers and gardening. Her family loved her cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kimuel Curtis Gladden; mother and father, Arthur and Effie Williams; brothers, James B. Williams and Aaron Williams; sister, Ruby Lawley; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Maggie Gladden.

Survivors include her son, Curtis (Arleen) Gladden of Attalla; daughter, Kimberly (David) Stephens of Gadsden; grandsons, Chris (Karen) Stephens of Gadsden, Paul (Sara) Gladden of California, and Jonathan Gladden of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Bailey Gladden and Cole and Olivia Stephens; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 until 2 PM at the funeral home.
