Juanita was born on April 14, 1941 in Fulton, MO the daughter of Homer and Orphia (Scott) Butler who preceded her in death. She worked for the University of Missouri as a secretary and then later at Winston Church Memorial as an administrative assistant. For several years, Juanita ministered at various churches in the community and lived a full life filled with Christ. She currently was the minister at The New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, MO. Juanita was very passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren and will be missed deeply.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Annette Armstrong (Carmon) of Fulton, MO; six sons, Louis Brown (Gina) of Elgin, IL, Terry Brown of Columbia, MO, Mark Brown of Las Vegas, NV, Ray Brown of Kansas City, MO, Dougie Butler of Holts Summit, MO and Delmor Butler of Fulton, MO; two brothers, Homer Butler and Harold Butler; two sisters, Darlene Brown and Diana Stevens; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 2:00pm at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bernard Nelson Sr officiating. Burial will be in Old Richland Baptist Church Cemetery near Fulton, MO.
