Beatrice “Bea” Vinson Winingear, 87, of Fulton passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. She was born January 1, 1926 in Oil Trough, Ar., the daughter of Herbert and Ellen (Warden) Williams.
She was united in marriage to Lonzie Vinson in New Port, Ar. on December 7, 1941. She later married Donald Winingear in Mexico, Mo. on August 27, 1976. He preceded her in death in October of 1994.
Beatrice worked at the snack bar located within IGA. She owned a second-hand store which she operated from her home. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She is survived by three sons, Tony Vinson, Earl Vinson, and Dale Winingear and wife Cathy, all of Fulton; three daughters, Frances West and husband Thomas of Fulton, Kathy Calkin of Jonesboro, Ar., and Elaine King and husband Larry of Jonesboro, Ar.; brother, R. G. Guthrie of Grubs, Ar.; sister Lolo Mae Bradley of Cave City, Ar.; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; second husband; children, Jerry Vinson, Glenda Tippitt, Gary Winingear; and three brothers, Herb Williams, Clifton Guthrie, and Jay Guthrie.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
In lieu of customary memorials, the family suggests memorials be made in Beatrice’s name to the organization of the donor’s choice, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Mo. 65251.
