April was born on September 23, 1977 in Louisiana, MO the daughter of Jackie and Barbara (Shire) Martin. She was a faithful member of Church of God of Holiness in Fulton, MO. April worked as an LPN for several years at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Shady Oaks Nursing Home and Ashland Nursing Home. She especially had a heart for seniors. She learned American Sign Language (ASL) to be able to reach out to the local deaf community and member of the church. She was a key leader in Celebrate Recovery and always willing to put others before herself. Her kind heart and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Survivors include: her mother, Barbara Martin of Fulton, MO; one daughter, Zoey Middleton of Fulton, MO; two sons, Hunter Middleton of Columbia, MO and Skye Middleton of St Louis, MO; one brother, Rudy Martin of Warrensburg, MO; three sisters, Tonya Rohlman (Richard) of Billings, MO, Sara Pitner (Scott) of Plano, IL and Jenny Vass (Brad) of Springfield, MO and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Jackie Martin and her life partner, Deb Keilholz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Church of God of Holiness. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Travis Sayler officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO.
