Richard was born on August 7, 1969, and grew up in Canoga Park, California. He attended El Camino High School, where his love for sports and camaraderie began to take root. After high school, he pursued his passion for technology at ITT Technical Institute, building a career with skill and dedication.
In October of 2000, Richard married the love of his life, Marolette, beginning a beautiful chapter filled with love, partnership, and shared dreams. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Tyler and Isabelle, who were his pride and joy.
Known for his big heart and unshakeable support for his loved ones, Richard was always a source of encouragement and kindness. He cherished moments with family and friends, often bonding over his favorite topic: sports. A lifelong Dodgers fan, he later embraced the Angels with equal enthusiasm, exemplifying his open-minded and passionate spirit.
Richard's warmth and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him, including his parents, Eric and Elaine, and his brothers, Brian and Kevin.
To honor Richard's love of sports, we invite you to celebrate his life at a memorial service on Saturday, December 21, 2024. In his memory, please wear jeans with a sports jersey, sports shirt, or a collared shirt—reflecting his casual, heartfelt approach to life.
Richard will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, support, and laughter will remain in our hearts forever.
