Edward Thomas Hosman

Hosman, Edward Thomas, 83, of La Mirada, was born Aug 6, 1927 in Waverly, KY to William Collins and Mary Elizabeth Hosman. He was raised in Waverly, KY with his siblings, Wm. Collins, Jr., Hilary, Don, Jeanette and Nina. He served in the Army/Air Core after WWII and then worked at the Coca Cola Bottling Co., in Evansville, IN. He went to flight school training and then worked for Lake Central Air Lines in South Bend, IN. In 1961, Tom began working for TWA and was transferred to Los Angeles. He worked 37 years, with 35 years of perfect attendance, until he retired in 1991. He has lived in La Mirada for the past 50 years. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Norveda. He is survived by his step-son Steve Fuquay, and daughters, Brenda Asti, Teresa Vincent, Diane Miller and Marilyn Hosman. He has nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Tom passed away on Sat, July 30th at home with his family by his side. Tom had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Viewing will be held on Wed, Aug 3rd from 4-8 p.m. and Funeral Service will be held on Thurs, Aug 4th at 1 pm. Both services will be held at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, 902 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton.
