Samuel Mac Arthur Price, born September 12, 1947 to Arthur and Georgia Mae Price, passed away on September 19, 2024, he was 77. His family moved from Yazoo City, Mississippi to Denver, Colorado when he was three years old, later moving to Colorado Springs where he graduated from W. J. Palmer High School.
Samuel attended Otero Jr. College, Colorado State University, and The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. After twenty years of working as a Medical Illustrator in Washington D.C. Samuel and his family returned to Colorado.
Samuel is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dolores (Vela) Price; four children, Sam II, Sarah, Hannah, and Daniel Price; four grandchildren, Jordan, Azaria, Shia, and baby Price; as well as two sisters, Jacqueline Robinson, Phd. Of Ohio, and Beverlyn Jorman of Boulder, Colorado.
Samuel was a man of absolute faith, determined to complete his visit here in life with humility and constantly concerned about the future of everyone he knew and met. He was a man after God’s heart.
