Lauren was born on May 12, 1983 in Galena, Illinois to Phil Runde and Cheryl Bailey. She enjoyed her work as a caretaker for the elderly, loved music, and in her free time enjoyed singing, playing piano, traveling, and she loved her family with all her heart. She is affectionately known as "Gypsy".
On September 2, 2012, she and Jonathan Gentel were married in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Gypsy is survived by her husband Jonathan Gentel, daughter Brianna Gentel, father Phil Runde, Mona Friedl, brother Evan and Jake Runde, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Gypsy will be greatly missed by everyone who met and knew her. May she rest in peace.
