Ila Jeanne Holland, 88, of Loveland, passed away January 26, in Loveland, Colorado. She was born in Carleton, Nebraska to Ivan and Minnie Miller. She grew up on a farm in eastern Nebraska. Graduated from Carleton High School and attended college at National Business College in Lincoln, NE. She married her sweetheart, Lewis W. Holland, in Carleton, Nebraska August of 1948.
Ila was employed at Dieterich Field, Lincoln, NE. She moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1962 and was a home maker. She later worked at Coors Paper Packaging (now Graphics Packaging) in Boulder for 17 years. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting, camping and traveling. She also enjoyed being with family and friends.
Ila belonged to the Loveland Newcomers Club, was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lincoln, NE; Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Boulder, CO; and Trinity Lutheran Church, Loveland, CO.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Joy) Holland of Granby, CO; Rhonda (Craig) Skeie of Nederland, CO; sisters, Helen (Bob) Chancellor of Lincoln, NE; Dorothy (Virgil) Drohman of Parker, CO; Ethel Bell of Leesburg, FL; and two grandchildren, Crystal (Ken) Beecken and Erik Skeie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Minnie Miller; husband, Lewis; son, Steven; brothers, Hubert and Allan; and sisters Doris Gilbert and Shirley Griffith.
Memorial services will be held in the Chapel of Good Samaritan Society Loveland Village, 2101 S. Garfield Ave., Loveland , Friday, February 5, 1:00 pm.
