Betty Cantrell, 88, beloved mother and grandmother, died Saturday January 26, 2019 in Loveland, Colorado at Good Samaritan Society – Loveland Village. She was born July 3, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska to Lloyd and Martha Lanham.
She is survived by her three daughters, Denise Long (Monty), Lisa Gelfand and Connie McCord (Danny); nine grandchildren, Steven Mares (Amy), Amy Zscheile Mares, Lynsie West (Ben), Kevin Long (Rose), Heather Roberts-Belt (Jason), Kristi Shefferd (Dusty), Nicholas Fox (Jessica), Stephanie Gauman (Jason), Jessilynn Fox; and fifteen great grandchildren. She was the oldest of ten siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved Grandma Keller and her two beloved brothers, Danny and Bobby Lanham.
She loved painting and drawing. In the last few years living at The Courtyard of Loveland Assisted Living, she received awards for paintings she had done, the most recent being Best of Show for “Moonlight on the Bayou”. It was her most treasured piece.
She loved all her family and was very much loved by all of us. There is a large void in all our hearts that can never be replaced, and we are going to miss her.
Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday February 4, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
