He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on January 16, 1950, to Ann and William Gordon. Phil graduated from Central High School in Bridgeport, CT, and earned his degree in Chemistry from Norwalk Community Technical College in Connecticut.
He was married to Gail Gordon on January 31, 1976. They enjoyed nearly 48 years of married life, traveling the world together. Phil worked in the skin care industry as a Cosmetic and Skin Care Chemist. He started a highly successful business, Concept Laboratories, which he passed on to his son, Dan after he retired. Phil loved traveling with his wife and family and had a passion for collecting art. His favorite hobby was taking care of his spectacular reef aquarium. Most of all, he enjoyed visiting with his children and grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Gordon; his daughter, Dana Baker, and husband Tramoine of Frisco; daughter Melissa Davidson, husband Shan of Prosper; and son Dan Gordon, and wife Sara of McKinney. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Christion Baker, Jaidyn Baker, Savannah Davidson, Mason Davidson, Madison Davidson, Alaina Gordon, and Charlotte Gordon.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ann Gordon.
