Mariah passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 27th, 2023, from complications from a routine surgery.
A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mariah was a graduate of Valley High school in Albuquerque. She attended MIT and received an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. Mariah attended medical School at University of California at San Francisco which in turn led to her career as an Emergency Medicine Physician.
To say her life touched many would do a disservice. As a respected and admired physician, she literally changed the life of hundreds if not thousands of people. Her intelligence was second to none, her kindness an example of what we all should strive to emulate. She will truly be missed by all the lives she touched both professional and personally.
A devoted wife, she was her husband JC’s love story. Family was her world. From her children, Kelly, Erin, Nick, John and Kenzie to her grandchildren, Ryder, Taylor, Chase and Devyn, Mariah’s positive attitude, playful nature and all-around silliness turned everyday life into an exceptional life. Her children worshipped her, her grandkids adored her, and her husband flat out thought she hung the moon.
Mariah is survived by husband JC, her children, Nick, John, Kenzie, Kelly (Scott) Priputen, Erin (Warren) Campbell. Her grandkids (she will forever be their Yaya) Ryder and Taylor Campbell and Chase and Devyn Priputen. Brother’s Mark (Martina) and David (Andrea) Manzanares. Sister Monica Manzanares (Katie). Parents Floyd and Lorraine Manzanares and In-laws John and Sam Keener.
