Jeremy Alan Stover, age 49, of Frisco, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 leaving a hole in the hearts of all that knew him. He was born September 1, 1974 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Jeremy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1992 and attended Cameron University while serving in the US Army from 1992-1995. He was a Program Manager at Sanmina in Carrollton, Texas and when not at work, Jeremy loved spending time with his family, planning the next trip to take together, making fun weekend plans, and proudly watching his kids excel in school and play sports.
Jeremy loved to tease, he had such a great sense of humor and a ridiculously contagious laugh. He loved traveling with both family and friends, barbecuing just about anything he could, watching any and every sport on TV, specifically teams from Michigan, taking his two Frenchies Caesar and Koda for a walk or to the park, spending time outdoors, fixing things around the house, and drinking his Coors Light.
Jeremy is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Michelle Rose Marie (Commisa) Stover; his beloved children Kayla and Jacob; his mother, Linda Adkins who resides in Alabama; his step-father Theodore (Fritz) Gerth who resides in Alabama; his many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; his in-laws; his numerous friends; and all those that knew and loved him.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his beloved Grandfather Lacey Adkins and Grandmother (as he lovingly referred to as Granny) Marlene Adkins, both of Copperhill, Tennessee.
A celebration of life visitation for Jeremy will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Rd., Frisco, Texas 75034. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home.
The family asks that all who attend, celebrate Jeremy’s life and his love of Detroit, Michigan sports teams by wearing Maize and Blue (Michigan Wolverines), Honolulu Blue and Silver (Detroit Lions), Red and White (Detroit Red Wings), or Navy and Orange (Detroit Tigers). We kindly request, NO Scarlet and Gray (Ohio State).
