Chandler Barrett Davis was born to his loving parents John Jr. & Mary Ann Davis on January 7th 1983. He graduated from The Colony High School in 2001. After he enlisted, proudly joining The United States Army, where he made quite the impression on everyone who met him and especially on multiple commanding officers. He enlisted in the Reserves and was deployed for active duty on more than one occasion. Chandler served as a Drill Sergeant and later retired. He learned a lot about honor and loyalty from the military which shaped him to be the unique and special person that we all knew. Chandler would do anything for anyone whether stranger or friend and believed in showing support to anyone who needed it, like for example saying his famous, “I Love you’s”.
A year ago in July 2016 when five Dallas Policeman were gunned down, Chandler made a point to show up & saluted them honorably for 4 hours. Many people from all around the nation noticed Chandler’s Saluting Tribute for our Dallas Police officers which left a stamp on all of our hearts, forever.
During his 20’s and 30’s he made it a point of striving to help everyone he found that needed him. Encouragement, inspiration, laughter, love and wisdom were just a few things that we each took away from being around Chandler. His quirky personality traits made him the joy we all love to be around. He was equally smart as he was ambitious, always coming up with new ideas and inventions, that he made a reality in hopes of bettering and changing the world. Along with his life accomplishments and adventures he built a very successful small business, combining his extensive medical knowledge and his military physical training to start Steel Soldier Fitness.
Chandler would want you to remember him, in your times of Weakness and through your Struggles of life to recount his Words, Wisdom, Love and Philosophy he gave each of us to make you smile, laugh, and see you through.
You are forever in our hearts. We love you and miss you, Chandler.
