Andre Mitchel Vance, 45, of Dallas, TX unexpectedly passed away on October 13, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. He was born to parents Parrish and Selser Vance on August 1, 1976 in San Francisco, CA.
After graduating from Lowell High School, he served his country in the Army, stationed in both South Korea and Louisiana. He continued his studies at California State University for a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He and his wife Christine moved to Dallas, TX in 2015 where they further grew their family. Andre was a caring husband, father, and son, present in every moment of his children’s lives.
He enjoyed traveling, cheering on his favorite sports teams the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors, expanding his palate of whiskey and bourbon, and spending time with friends. He was known for never meeting a stranger, always taking time to converse with someone new.
Andre married Christine, the love of his life, in 2008 who survives him. He is also survived by their four beautiful children, Zoe, Dylan, Ariana, and Riley. He is survived by his mother Selser Vance, brother Billy Vance and sister Jessica Vance and proceeded in death by his father Parrish Vance.
A celebration of life and time of visitation for Andre will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033 with a celebration of life funeral service, including military honors, to immediately follow. A committal service will occur Monday, November 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
