Ted passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, at the age of 84 after a long illness. Ted was born on June 24, 1927, and was a life-long resident of Fresno. He served in the US Navy as an aviation equipment support technician on the USS Donner.
He worked as a mechanic for Frontier Chevrolet; owned a Union 76 Station at Cedar and Gettysburg; and was a vocational automotive instructor for Fresno Unified School District at Edison High School.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore H. and Amelia Kuhn of Fresno; and Jorja Rogers Kuhn.
Ted is survived by his loving wife Celia "Sally" Sanchez Kuhn, and her extended family.
By brother, Wallace "Wally" Kuhn of Fresno and numerous nieces and nephews.
By his son, Kevin Kuhn of Fresno; former daughter-in-law, Sharon Mosebar of Fresno; granddaughter, Tanya Samuel and her husband Brad; and great-grandson, Matthew of San Diego, Ca.
By his daughter, Karol Kuhn Simons and her husband Dick of Cottage Grove, Or.; grandson, Buckley Rudicel and his wife Brandi; great-grandchildren, Zayna, Camas and Clover of Dorena, Or.; granddaughter, Amelia Woolsey; and great-grandsons, Austin and Logun of Cottage Grove, Or.
By his daughter Kimberly O'Neal, currently of Dublin, Ireland.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4672 E. Cedar Ave. at Gettysburg, Fresno, Ca. on Friday, February 3, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be followed by a social in the church's Faith Hall.
Remembrances may be made to Peace Lutheran Church; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
