He graduated from North Salinas High in 1984.
He went on to study Business Administration with the Option of Marketing at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He continued his education at Fresno State for his teaching credential and then received his MBA from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Robert worked as a Teacher for 20 years. He worked at Washington Union High School, Fresno City College, Fresno Pacific University, and California State University, Fresno.
He enjoyed his company Music Express which he started in his senior year of high school and after a short break continued until 2021.
Robert met Valarie in 1992. They were married on August 28th,1993 in Fresno, California. Together they raised 2 children - Joseph, 29, and Julia, 21.
Robert is survived by his wife, Valarie; his children, Joseph and Julia; mother, Carol; siblings, Michael (Patty), Mary Ann McMasters (John), and Barbara Gambaro (John).
He was preceded in death by Otto, father; as well as his beloved animals Velvet, Hershey and Oliver.
The family has entrusted Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home with the arrangements. A Viewing is scheduled for 10:00am and Service for 11:00am at 836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720 on June 10th, 2023.
