Peter Vang, Southeast Asian Community activist and liaison for over 30 years. He was an iconic figure at both the state and national level, progressing visibility for the needs of his community and recognition for their role during the Vietnam War.
To his community, he was known as an advocate for minorities. To his family and close friends, he was known as a jokester, quick witted and all around hug giver. His family and friends will deeply miss him and the calm that he brought when conversing with him.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, father, brother, sisters, nephews and nieces.
Please join us in celebrating his life and legacy on Saturday, June 22nd from 8 am -10 pm, as we say our final goodbye.
