Chris I remember was one of many family members who welcomed me into this family with open arms and an open heart.  Not only she but her two children also.  Thank you Chris for the warm welcome.

I also have a fond memory of camping in one of the coldest places I ever stayed, Camp Fresno. Where you, Mama, Jean and I were stirring chicken in a pot for dinner. I remember the fun and the laughter while we all tried to huddle around the stove to stay warm.

My dearest Chris, I don't know where to start. I am going to have a hard time for awhile to really believe you are gone. My one regret is not being able to spend more time with you in our later years. My many, many memories are so full of good times, so full of joy. One memory was us getting a spanking from my dad for jumping from the toilet to the tube and the water leaking downstairs thru the light fixture over the dinning table. Of course that was where daddy was sitting. He laughed about it in later years and so did we. I love you so much Chris. Always have. I will see you again my sweet, sweet cousin. My heart feels so empty, but I have the assurance that you are at rest.

My second mom,
I can't find words to express what an impact you had on my life. Your daughter and I became best friends and you immediately treated me like your own. You took us to church every Sunday and youth group every Thursday. You were there when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, you were there through my adolescents. I remember sleep over and make overs and Erin and I coming out of her room after total transformations (looking like clowns) and you'd just shake your head and maybe an eye roll, but you let us be silly us. Thank you for being my second mom, thank you for not killing me when Erin and I took the car for a spin, and thank you for not killing me when I shot the bb gun through your sliding glass door. Thank you for having a beer with me as an adult, thank you for laughs, hugs, talks and putting everyone before yourself. You were an amazing woman and heaven is so lucky. I feel so blessed to have known you. I love you Chris.
