Moses Perez Jr., born on June 11, 1960, in Sunnyside, Washington. He entered heaven’s gates on May 4, 2024, He was met by his mother Lucia Alvarado and sisters Terry Mayfield and Rachel Rodriguez. He was a devoted father to his daughters Consuelo Pavy, Christina Perez, Cassandra Westbrook, and Corina Perez. Moses was a beloved husband to Mary and loved her children and grandkids as his own. Moses was also cherished by his sisters Rosie Perez and Mary Ellen Gonzales.
His legacy lives on through his adored grandchildren Michael, Moses Joshua, Peyton, Jack, Oliver, and Babygirl Westbrook who all brought immeasurable joy into his life.
Moses was a proud veteran and served in the army reserves for some dedicated years.
Moses was a man of many talents - he truly embodied the phrase "Jack of all trades." As a mechanic, welder and handyman he was able to start his own business - 5Cs Handyman - he touched the lives of countless individuals with his skills and dedication to hard work. His ability to fix anything that came across his path made him an invaluable resource to those around him. He worked tirelessly in his trade until 2008 when he suffered a traumatic brain injury that would cause him to lay his tools down, changing his course of life forever. Even so, he continued to surround those around him with love and laughter, and continued to live life to the fullest, finding happiness in every moment that came his way.
It is perhaps as a person that Moses will be most remembered. Those who knew him will remember Moses for his infectious laughter and unforgettable smile, a playful spirit that could light up any room; He was always ready with a joke or prank up his sleeve. His ability to bring lightness into any room made him an unforgettable presence wherever he went, one-of-a-kind jokester and life of the party.
Moses had unwavering love for his family – he was proud to be a “Girl Dad". This deep affection extended not only to them but also encompassed every member of his family and friends as well.
To honor the memory of this remarkable man there will be a Celebration of Life service held at Lisle Funeral Home (1605 L Street) in Fresno on May 24th at 10 am where friends and family can come together one last time to pay their respects.
Moses' passing has left an irreplaceable void within our hearts, The impact that Moses has had during his time here cannot be overstated. We are deeply saddened by our loss, but we take solace knowing that he is now at peace watching over us from above.
