Monica Zuniga Taja

Monica worked as a pharmacy technican for 20 years. Monica was the kind of person that considered the needs of others over her own. Her infectious smile and care for other people will be dearly missed by family and friends. She won her first battle with cancer being in remission since 2010.

Monica is survived by her husband, Lawrence F. Taja; three children, Gloria Zuniga, Sonya, and Lorenzo Taja Jr.; one grandchild, Lilyanna Sainz; brother Paul Zuniga and sister Roxanne Dekker.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday, October 28, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and at Sacred Heart Church from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For LIfe Organization in Fresno, 222 W. Shaw Ste. 201, Fresno, Ca. 93711.
