Lizibet Eleanore Rousseau

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, Lizibet Eleanore Rousseau. Mom was born on April 3, 1927, in Fairbank, PA, to Anna and Michael Sesak. She had seven siblings, Helen, Mary, Steven, Michael, George, Margaret and Teresa. She passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016.

She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and sister. She enjoyed traveling until her health prevented, gambling, cooking, shopping and visiting with her family either directly or over the phone.

Liz was married for 59 years to Albert A. Rousseau Sr. They lived in Fresno, CA where Albert worked as a City of Fresno Police Officer and she worked for the Pacific Telephone Company. Mom enjoyed her time at work and the friends she made.

Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 2011.

She is survived by her daughter Georgia; son Albert; grandchildren, Andrea and Nick; her son, Jean and his wife Andria; grandchildren, Jordan, Alexandra and Madison; and her sister, Teresa Chouinard.

Visitation will be held at the Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen's Catholic Church on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
