Linda Lee Cooper

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Lee Cooper (Minyard) of Bakersfield announce her passing on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at the age of 66.

Linda is survived by her husband of 23 years, Cliff Cooper of Bakersfield. Linda will also be lovingly remembered by her oldest daughter Shannon Merritt, son-in-law Richard Merritt, and grandsons Richie and Matthew Merritt, her youngest daughter Jaime Fowler, and granddaughters Kaylee and Kenady Fowler, her father George Minyard, her four sisters and their families, Debbie Ezell, Karla Hooten, Kelly Hastings, and Suzi Rogers, and her two brothers, Steve Minyard and Dennis Lewis.

She was predeceased by her mother Peggy Kastner, stepfather Clyde Kastner, and brother Dwayne Lewis.

Because of restrictions surrounding COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held in Bakersfield later this summer. Details about the gathering will be sent directly to family and friends once arrangements have been finalized.
