Lillian Marie Graziani

February 22, 1930 to April 24, 2019

Lillian was born to her parents, Dante and Dina Stiavelli, in Fresno, California on February 22, 1930, and grew up and went to school in Reedley, California where she later worked for an attorney. In 1949, she married Cipriano Graziani and moved to Antioch, California, where she worked in a deli. In 1960, she and her family moved to Fresno where she worked for an ophthalmologist for many years until she retired.

While in Fresno, she was very active in and served as a member or officer of many clubs and organizations, such as the Italo-American Club and Women's Auxiliary, the Italian Catholic Federation, the Sons of Italy, the Edison Social Club, and Our Lady of Victory Women's Club. She also volunteered much of her time to various organizations, such as the Nazareth House and ushering for New Wrinkles. Lillian was extremely organized and planned and assisted with many social functions and events.

She loved to dance, garden, decorate, cook, travel, entertain, play cards and shop. She loved her family and enjoyed hosting large gatherings for the holidays.

Lillian passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019 and fulfilled her wish to live at home for as long as she could.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano, and her brother, Don Stiavelli.

She is survived by Denise Graziani, daughter and her partner Gordon Moore; David Graziani, son, and Barbara Graziani, daughter-in-law; Rachel Graziani, granddaughter; Gabriel Graziani, grandson, his wife Skye Woodrum, and Helix Woodrum Graziani, great grandson; Gerald Stiavelli, brother and Cindy Stiavelli, sister-in-law; and many cousins within and out of the local area.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, and Blair Funeral Home, 1525 E. Saginaw Way, Fresno.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at St. Peters Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Ave., Fresno.

Remembrances may be made in Lillian's name to Hinds Hospice, 2490 W. Shaw Ave.
