She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Marie; and her mother and father, Lupe & Raymond Rivera.
She is survived by her husband Ruben Zarate, Sr.; sons Ruben Zarate, Jr. and Raymond J. Rocha; four grandchildren, Lydia and Raeanna Rocha, and Emilio and Isabella Zarate; sisters, Alice V. Evans and Mary Ellen Leyva; and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church on Friday, May 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Belmont Memorial Park.
