Carol, you are my loving sis-in-law & dearest friend & I love you very much. I am very sorry for the passing of Joel.  I am sorry for your suffering during your loving & caring of Joel while he was ill at home, & your suffering after his passing; which was & is both emotionally & physically overwhelming. I know you loved Joel very much. Everyone could see the love you had  for each other.  I can see his absence is extremely very difficult for you. Please know I love you and I care about your well being. I am available to cry & grieve with you whenever you need me.  I am available to assist you for anything & in everything,  both day &  night.
Joel dearly loved you, Carol.  He was loyal to you & loved having you by his side. He loved his life with you whether you were just sitting at home, out & about, or traveling out of town or state. He loved his children & grandchildren & always made time to be with them. He loved his brothers & sisters. He also loved his friends & was a loyal friend to them. Joel  was a loving & caring man: as a husband to you, as a brother-in-law to me, & to family & friends alike. My heart is broken to say the least. I  will miss Joel & his absence will be a great sense of loss for me. I have many beautiful memories of his loving kindness. I’m sure others feel Joel’s loss & have wonderful memories of his love & kindness too. Joel will forever be loved & will never be forgotten. I thank God that You & I will for sure see Joel again.  Along with those who believe in & have accepted Jesus as Lord & Savior. Joel will forever RIP in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, Our Lord & Savior.  

As I mentioned to my dear friend Carol at today's service, one of
many great memories is our  freshman, year having history in Mr. Gartman's class, but the best memories I remember as it was just
yesterday, seeing Carol and Joel as the cutest couple at Clovis High. My heart is heavy for Carol and family. What a beautiful
 family man my friend lived. RIP Joel. Lilly Martinez Ulloa Class of '68!




 

A memory back in October 14th, 2017 of my Aunt and Uncle at the cabin we rented at pigeon forge, TN.  Aunt Suzie and Uncle Joel drove across the country to come see us get married that day and I'll never forget that. He  was a great person with a great personality and I'm glad he was my uncle! Thanks for the memories Uncle! Prayers and condolences for family and friends of Joel Soto. May he rest in peace and be reunited with loved ones who were lost. May God bless him and his family. 

My deepest sympathy to Carol and family. Joel was a very kind and likeable person.  When ever you saw him he had a big smile. Lots of memories of our school years. Carol was blessed to have you in her life. RIP Joel.
