Jack graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1962. While at Los Angeles City College he met Josie, his wife of 58 years. They were married in 1965 and had 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
Jack was drafted and served 9 years with the USAF. His military duty introduced him to the SR-71 airplane, the plane that would continue to play a significant role in his life and be his second greatest passion, his family being first.
During Jack's military life he and his family were stationed at George and Beale AFB in CA and Clark AFB in the Philippines. After 9 years in the military the family moved to Los Angeles where Jack continued his career with aerospace. When Jack was later offered the opportunity to work as a Sr Field Engineer with the SR-71 he excitedly moved the family to Yuba City, CA.
Jack loved spending time with his wife Josie and their four children. He volunteered with Boy Scouts, Little League, Habitat for Humanity, Fremont-Rideout Hospital, Western Farm Workers, North Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and for various other organizations.
Jack was a man who was dedicated and devoted to his faith. He was an active member of Temple Bet Shalom.
Jack also was a Real Estate Agent with Century 21.
Jack Marvin Levine passed away on February 28, 2023 at Adventist Health and Rideout Hospital. Jack is survived by his wife, Josie; children Lynise, Dennis (Traci), Craig, and Cindy (Joe); grandchildren, Justin, Jaden, Jacob, Caleb, Elijah, Madison, and Cody.
Services were held at Whitehurst Sullivan Funeral Home in Clovis, CA.
Jack was laid to rest in Clovis Cemetary, Clovis CA
