Aunt Gracie,
Just a little while ago, it seems, you sent me a message wishing me a happy fourth, out of the blue. Our visits in recent years were few and far between, but like a quick and sudden floodgate, all the times I spent growing up with you from since before I could even remember rushed forth as I opened that message. Some of my best and most treasured memories are of you and your bright, soft laughter, your fun and caring spirit, your unwavering thoughtfulness, and growing up in your house in Selma. I think of you now, again from afar, and I know you know you are loved by your loved ones—your children, my Dad, your sisters, brothers, and friends, and me. Thank you for sharing your light with us. We carry your love with us always. I will miss you, I will think of you often. I hope you “punch it!” wherever you are.

I met Grace in 2007 when I started working for the WIC program.  Grace was always kind and had a smile on her face, she was friendly with everyone.  Grace was so proud of her children whom she spoke  of daily.  I will miss Grace dearly and I am happy to have known her through work and outside of work as a friend.   

I had the privilege of knowing Gracie for over 60 years, her parents and my parents were friends, so I would occasionally babysit her and her siblings when her parents went out.  She was a sweet, kind person, if you ever had a problem she always had something that would uplift you ❤️ I have memories of her family and my family going to the coast and spending the weekend together, our children were young and it was such a wonderful time in our lives. You will be missed by many. Rest In Peace dear friend.

Grace not only had beautiful eyes, she had a beautiful heart. I worked with Grace for about 8 years, she always brought life to our office with her music and her laughs. She was a kind friend and great listener, such a fun person. I never hesitated to help her when she would ask me for help. I will miss telling you my stories, thanks for all those good advices you always gave me and for your good wishes always. Rest in Paradise Grace...

My beautiful green eyed Sister-in-law. As I sit her writing this I’m still in shock and can hear your voice saying “Whats up Pat”. Grace you have always been the heart of our family the one that kept the unconditional love going. You my dear sister-in-law eft is way too soon. I will forever be grateful to you for welcoming me into your family. I love and miss you so much Grapehead.

Gracie was my late Wife best friend for many years. She was also “Nina” to my first born daughter. She was /always be a great part of our family. We talked, texted and visited each other as often as we could. Gracie will always be in our memories and in our hearts. Will miss her, always….

Another angel gets her wings. You left us too soon mom but you will never be forgotten.  25 years ago you were introduced to a 20 yr old troubled kid with no future, portraying to be some tough guy but really all along just hiding afraid behind a wall . A wall that you saw right through and brought it tumbling down. Since day 1 you you took that kid under your wing never judging him. Always giving him your unconditional love.  teaching him that life is beautiful , Love it and live it to you’re fullest no matter what your past was like  or how your future will be .  You were there for me  during a really hard time mom and helped me rise above . You helped me become the man I am today. You gave me your approval and excepted me as your son in law.. I will forever be grateful .  Fly away away free bird! heaven awaits you!

I met Gracie over 35 yrs ago at WIC, she was my  nutrition counselor. A year later we became coworkers there at EOC. Always remember her beautiful hair and her crockpot meals ♥️ Such a shock to hear of her passing, she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers for her family, especially her children and grandchildren whom she always spoke so highly about.🙏🏼

Gracie was kind, gentle and very to herself!    I am honored to have known her .  I admired her Catholic faith , her devotion  inspired me to become a better Catholic.   We worked together for 19 years .   When i first started working  at WIC , I will never forget she invited me to pray the rosary with her and a couple of other ladies during lunch —- I knew then she was a good person !   She often talked about her kids and siblings with lots of love .    Gracie will be missed !   Rest in Peace !   I will pray for strength for all her family!

I met Grace over 32 yrs ago, we were co workers and she became a dear friend. We had many long conversations, shared many good times and struggles as well.  She was an excellent listener,  she was kind and compassionate.  She adored her family and often shared about them. She loved music.  Her faith was strong.  May you have eternal peace my dear friend... 💕

Grace was kind, hardworking and really understood our clients. Herself being a young mother, she knew how important good nutrition and education was for her children and the kids she served for the past 39 years at WIC. I am grateful I got to work with her… I knew I reminded of her mom, she told me once, she loved dancing and her Spanish, Tejano and oldies music at work.

She had a great laugh and shared her joy when I was feeling sad.

I will miss her but she is at peace with the lord.

Hard to believe  you're no longer with us.  Covid has taken so many lives and caused so much heartache for families.  I didn't  see too much of you but, I did think about you and how you were doing. It is very saddening to know I won't see you again but I know you are in heaven and very happy to see your  mom again. God lends his souls to us for a short while but these souls must return back home once one's own assignment is complete on earth.  I'm saddened  to hear of your passing but I know you are rejoicing being in heaven.  Molly😪🙏🙏
