Forrest Alan Felger was born to Alan and Joan Felger on April 9,1963 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Forrest was called to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 27, 2023. His passions in life centered on family, good friends, golf, soccer and snowboarding. Forrest’s perfect day would be what he would call the ‘California Double’- being the first on the ski lift for a morning of snowboarding, immediately followed by an afternoon of golf at Madera Country Club.
In the summer of 1981, Forrest entered California Polytechnic State University in San Louis Obispo, California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Crop Science with an agronomy emphasis.
Forrest found immediate employment at Western Farm Service as a pest control advisor. Forrest and his brother Warren went on to start Felger farms in 1994 producing a wide variety of crops, primarily almonds. He went on to hold a variety of positions and agribusiness in both sales and consulting.
He married the love of his life, Heidi Billerbeck, in August of 1988 after four years of dating and they were married 34 1/2 years. Together they were blessed with three children, Brooke, Austin, and Curtis. Forrest was a loving and devoted father who enjoyed coaching all three in youth soccer amongst many other activities.
Forrest exhibited a love for life that was easily picked up upon by all around him. His spirit, charismatic personality and caring nature will be dearly missed.
Forrest is survived by his wife Heidi, children Brooke, Austin, Curtis, and his four sisters Faith, Phyllis, Carol, and Desiree.
