Douglas was born on July 30, 1931, in Allen, OK, and passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015, in Clovis, CA. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Housing Authority.
He had a great love of the outdoors and a passion for dancing. His greatest love after his wife Kathy, was fishing.
He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Hood.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hood; his brother Cecil Hood, sons and their wives, Rodger and Suzanne, Doug and Debbie; from his first wife, Zella Jones. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his two step-daughters.
Visitation will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
