She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and always had a positive attitude. She will forever be known for her loving and caring ways, endless sense of humor and contagious laugh that was like a burst of happiness. She was a classy, beautiful lady and had a genuine and unique way of making you always feel special. She had a gift to explain things in a way you could understand and instilled in us to always have a backup plan.
She enjoyed antique shopping in Old Town Clovis on Saturday’s and was always up for a trip to a good yard sale. The Los Angeles Dodgers were her favorite team. She always looked forward to watching the games, especially when they played the San Francisco Giants, which always stirred up interesting household team rivalry.
Dolores is preceded in death by Tommy G. Rodriguez, her husband; parents Benjamin and Eduarda Gomez; Sister Vera Olsen, and brothers Bob, Louie, Frank, Merlin, Ben, Joe, Eddie and her twin Charles Gomez. She is survived by her son Steve Medina, daughters Jennifer M. Bruce (Daryl) and Stefanie M. Diaz (Geoff), grandchildren Kevin Medina, Charlie Medina and Nicholas Diaz.
Visitation will be at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery on Monday, November 25, 2024, 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
