Born in Brawley California, he was the son of Jose and Juana Sandoval. Known as “Chon” to his friends and family. In his early years he worked as a ranch hand, then worked for Roberts Fig Company, retiring after the company closure. He was always one with a need to stay busy, so you could usually find him working in his yard. This led to him doing gardening for others.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In his early years he and his family would help clean the church. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, singing, dancing, watching western movies and eating at his favorite places, Dennys, and Table Mountain.
Concepcion is survived by his sons; Robert, Ray, and Richard Sandoval; daughter, Terri De La Cerda; her husband, Paul and daughter-in-law, Juanita Sandoval, whom he enjoyed sharing his birthday with.
Concepcion also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded by his great grandson, Roman.
