We met you in August 23, we shared a lot of beautiful moments and experiences.
Thanks for introducing ourselves into your family and showing us your knowledge, we love your house/museum and all your anecdotes.
Thanks for all your love and it was a pleasure meeting you. 
We have a part of you in our home, the beautiful picture of Yosemite.

Charles Leonard Hamberg was born into an extended family that favored nicknames.  Since dad John was “Moon”, Charles became “Little Moon”, then later as an adult, also “Moon”.

Charles was a very wise and witty guy.  He was also something of a “Ham” who could be quite entertaining.  An example of this is a prized possession of mine, a video made in the 90's during his visit with relatives in Monroe, WA.   With Mary Ann behind the camera and Charles in a starring role, the video is both a family archive treasure and a fine remembrance of him.

Living far from each other we had frequent phone talks, most lasting well over an hour.  Charles liked to talk about current events, Fresno State football and always spoke with great pride about his family.

“Mooney” was a special one to me.  He is deeply missed.

Charels’s and his wife Mary Ann are the first people I met when l returned to the Church I would ask myself where is this Beautiful voice coming from? Behind me, when I turned to offer peace it was Mary Ann and Charles. I’m so Blessed to have them in my life For the love that radiates from them will shine Forever on Earth and in Heaven…

I knew Chuck through his beautiful wife who is a dear friend of my late mother. He loved his wife and children and was always welcoming to others. I heard funny and fun stories about the 4 of them while they traveled together. My Dad still talks about their trip to Brazil.  Chuck will be missed but never forgotten.
